What’s your passion? My passion is really to find new ways to meet real needs in our community, and empower and inspire people to live out their God-given calling by meeting those needs. I’m passionate about the idea that your most fulfilled life is a life spent in service to others using your unique personality and gifts. How has HOPE inspired you to serve different? HOPE has opened my eyes on a whole new model of service that begins with listening to real people describe real needs, and serving those needs from a place of inspiration rather than obligation. Tell us your favorite HOPE moment while serving? 2 moments really jump out to me on a yearly basis. One of those moments is seeing children at our hospital party for local hospitals receive gifts from Santa and the joy on their face when receiving those gifts. Another moment for me is at our 5K races, watching the little kids cross the finish line after their .5 mile fun run. The sense of accomplishment and victory is amazing to see on their faces. What do you HOPE for? I hope that every person in needs in the communities we serve finds real HOPE that someone cares for them and is willing to tackle those needs, not for any gain or self-ambition, but rather purely out of our love for our fellow man.
