DISCOVERING REAL NEEDS and FULFILLING THEM WITH HOPE
A purpose driven organization that seeks to joyfully meet the physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs of the local community in the D.C. Metro area.
We seek to make a greater impact by inspiring and equipping passionate people to use their unique gifts, talents, and abilities to meet more needs of our community by serving together.
LOVE IN ACTION
Every season, community, family and individual is different ‐ as are their needs. We take the time to assess the real need behind each sorrow or life hurdle and how HOPE can best love on that child, teen or adult to give them eternal HOPE and to transform communities one individual at a time.
HOPE inspires and equips passionate people to serve more people than they ever could on their own. We believe in serving from a place of inspiration rather than a place of burden. How?
The relationship to the church can further multiply the hope of the community.
Members serving with hope embodies a rich meaning.
The foundation of HOPE is identifying the unique passions and God‐given talents of the amazing volunteers that are inspired to serve with us.
We take the time to find out their dreams, ambitions, life stories and together we develop fresh, creative ways to love on our community. We also provide our volunteers training, resources and inspirational live conferences to help our volunteers reach their full potential.
We serve at-risk children, their families, and the homeless in our communities.
We also serve by teaching young adults to be leaders. However, as we identify new needs of the community, new programs and outreach are added on an ongoing basis.

The HOPE Association is a not-for-profit faith-based organization that was founded in 2012 out of the great calling to be the place where people’s greatest needs are met using people’s greatest passions. Our organization began and exists as a ministry and means to fulfill the vision of St. Timothy and St. Athanasius Orthodox Church (STSA) in Arlington, VA and achieve its core value which states, “We bleed with love for the community around us – especially those who are without Christ. We don’t just care about spiritual needs, but physical, emotional, and social needs as well.
