Our Mission
Hope Multiplied is a purpose driven organization that seeks to joyfully meet the physical, emotional, social, and relational needs of the local community in the D.C. Metro area and beyond.
Every season, community, family and individual is different ‐ as are their needs. We don’t have a one size fits all solution or focus because those we serve aren’t all one size fits all. We take the time to assess the real need behind each sorrow or life hurdle and how we can provide real impact and Hope to that child, teen or adult to give them the tools they need to break the systemic inequity and cycles of poverty they often found themselves in.
How do we do this?
Our greatest resource at Hope Multiplied lies in the amazing men and women that comprise our staff and volunteers that make up our organization and programs. We seek to make a greater impact by inspiring and equipping passionate people to use their unique gifts, talents, and abilities to meet more needs of our community by serving together. HOPE inspires and equips passionate people to serve more people than they ever could on their own. We believe in serving from a place of inspiration rather than a place of obligation.
Our Philosophy of Service
Start With A Need.
At Hope, you won’t find a group of experts or professionals in a certain field or industry. But rather, we seek to listen to the real needs of real people and use this as the basis for our work. We take the time to assess the real need behind each sorrow or life hurdle and how HOPE can best love on that child, teen or adult to give them eternal HOPE and to transform communities one individual at a time.
Use Passionate People.
The foundation of our work stems from identifying the unique passions and God-given talents of the amazing volunteers that are inspired to serve with us. We take the time to find out their dreams, ambitions, life stories and together we develop fresh, creative ways to love our community and meet their needs. We also provide our volunteers training, resources and inspirational live conferences to help our volunteers reach their full potential.
Love With No Strings Attached.
When we serve at Hope, we do so expecting and desiring nothing in return. It is our joy to serve those in need and the smiles and comfort on their faces are the rewards that we seek. In our cynical world with many skeptical of good work, we will always seek to love and serve unconditionally those in need.
